Project studios: OpenDesign and VoiceStudio

v1.3.x · updated 2026-09-14

OpenDesign and VoiceStudio open in the studios section of the AiHummer web panel. Select a workspace: studio projects and data belong to the current user within that workspace. Visiting the section does not install or start an application.

Getting started

  1. Select a signed version and install it. If no bundles are available, contact your instance administrator.
  2. Wait for installation to finish, run the studio and open its editor. OpenDesign works with projects and designs; VoiceStudio works with voice and audio.
  3. Use the stop button to stop the application. Closing the editor only hides its window.

Resources and network

The administrator must allocate memory, CPU time and a process limit. Starting is unavailable without an allocation. Limits appear on the card and beside the open editor; they do not guarantee that every model fits in memory. Voice computation runs on your own instance. Processor compatibility, model readiness and free disk space are checked separately.

Public networking is off by default. Model downloads and requests to selected external providers require administrator permission; private addresses remain blocked. Visiting the section does not automatically download models.

Updates and errors

Stop the studio before updating and select a version. Rollback requires a previous compatible version; it does not downgrade the data schema. On error, read the message and refresh the state. Retrying a command uses its original request identifier; an interrupted wait does not prove that the operation failed. Contact the administrator if recovery is required.

The card provides source code for the installed version: OpenDesign uses Apache-2.0 and VoiceStudio uses AGPL-3.0-only. Models may have separate license terms.
